The Wireless Wave protocol is based upon the international IEEE standard 802.15.4. On top of this standard an extra specific WWCS-protocol has been developed in order to meet strict safety requirements of the industrial cleaning world.

Industrial approved, reliable and safe The standard 802.15.4 is extremely suitable for use in industrial environments, and is also used for e.g. the Wireless HART protocol for wireless sensors in the process industry. Industry leaders such as ABB, Endress+Hauser en Siemens have also chosen for IEEE 802.15.4 for wireless communications in heavy-industrial environments.

The wireless technology of WWCS is based on the highest standards in the industry and approved for ‘Zone 2’- locations. The Wireless Wave Control System (WWCS) replaces traditional signal cables with a wireless wave protocol.

The range of the Wireless Wave Control System connection is excellent for all practical situations. A distance of 500 meters has been tested successfully an open area with the Wireless Wave Gun and the Wireless Wave Master Control in action. By adding the Wireless Wave Repeater a wireless connection for longer distances are possible. Naturally, the range of the wireless connection is influenced by many factors.

The Wireless Wave protocol is approved for ‘Zone 2’ environments. The frequency and protocol will not interfere with industrial processes or vice versa: other radio connections do not interfere with WWCS. It is also not possible that a Wireless Wave Gun activates another Wireless Wave Pump Control unit.

The Wireles Wave protocol has been developed with safe and reliable wireless connections as first requirements, as well as the use of the protocol next to other active radio systems within the industry. All wireless Wave Conrol System modules continuously evaluate de quality of the connection and actively search for free frequencies in a specific environment. The constant bi-directional communication guarantees a perfect connection between the modules of every separate WWWCS.

It is possible to work flawless with several Wireless Wave Control Systems at the same time at one location. The wireless digital connection between the modules of a system, will not be disturbed by the wireless connections of another system. The wireless connection of system number 1 has no access to the wireless connection of system number 2. The constant bi-directional communication guarantees a perfect connection between the modules of every separate WWWCS. Up to 12 WWC- modules can work actively next to one another. The units of the WWCS continuously evaluate the quality of the connections and search for ‘free radio frequencies’ at the specific location.

The Wireless Wave Control System will fall back in ‘safe modus’, in the rare case that disturbing transmitters interfere with the quality of the Wireless Wave Control Systems’ connection and communication. The pressure of the high pressure water jetting unit can only be restored with a conscious action of the operator.

The WWCS is compatible with all modern high pressure water jetting units. The standard Wireless Wave Control System is ready-to-install on units with a 2-channel control system, a 7-pin connector, a control system with a high pressure valve for pressure upwards and ressure downwards and a 24 VDC-power base.

Please note: The Wireless Wave Control System can be modified to fit anyl modern high pressure water unit of any major brands. 

All Wireless Wave modules are equipped with rechargeable batteries. A charged battery provides enough energy for 10 to 12 hours of wireless action. Every module comes with a 24VDC charger cable which can be connected a.o. to the Wireless Wave Pump Control charger. The lifespan of one battery is about one year and needs to be replaced with a new battery every year
