Begin by performing ablution (wudu), facing the qibla, and then reciting the travel prayer (Salat al-Safar) as prescribed in the Islamic tradition. It is important to have the intention of traveling during the prayer and to recite the appropriate supplications for a safe journey. After completing the prayer, one can make additional dua (supplications) for a safe and blessed journey. **

The act of prayer in Buddhism is more about self-reflection, mindfulness, and seeking inner peace rather than seeking external intervention from a higher power. Buddhists may also pray for the well-being and happiness of all sentient beings. **
